When you drop by the offices at Childspring International, say hello to Irvin Singh, our summer office intern!
Irvin is in his first year of a Master of Public Health degree from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. His concentration is in Health Policy & Management, and he is especially interested in creating policy within the healthcare system that will improve the collective well-being of large populations.
This summer, Irvin has been working with Development Associate Michele Brown and Executive Director Alison Fussell to explore new avenues of funding for the hundreds of surgeries Childspring provides for children each year. His major project is to compile a master list of all grants and foundations with criteria applicable to Childspring, complete with materials required and deadlines.
Irvin states that he has relished the opportunity to take responsibility for projects that are vital to Childspring’s organizational health. Childspring, in turn, has enjoyed getting to know Irvin and helping him expand his repertoire.
Please welcome Irvin to the Childspring community!
