2006 Children
In 2006, Childspring International provided medical treatment
to 100 children from 17 countries. These children now have
opportunities for a better life due to the physical healing
that took place in their lives.
Many children will also be healed mentally through the gift
of a Childspring educational scholarship. We encourage you
to read these stories to learn more about our mission and
how medical care and educational scholarships are providing
spiritual and emotional healing to children from around
the world.
Cachuska - Haiti
Cachuska was born with a cleft upper lip and palate
and up until her surgery had not been able to eat solid
foods. She was flown to South Carolina for treatment, and
currently has completely recovered from her surgery and
is doing well. She has returned to her family and is growing
up beautifully.
Bibi - Tanzania
Bibi was severely burned at one month of age when her sleeping
mat caught fire in her home in Tanzania. Although she was
taken to the local "clinic" her parents were unable to afford
the salves to help her healing and she became very scared.
Bibi came to the United States to have her scars removed
and to have a prosthetic limb fitted to her missing left
arm.
Clauna - Haiti
Twelve-year-old Clauna left her family in Haiti so
that she could undergo heart surgery in the United States.
When she arrived in the US, her condition had worsened to
the point that she was deemed too fragile to handle the
surgery at one hospital, so we arranged emergency surgery
for her.
